From Prof. Roland Simbulan : “On her first death anniversary on May 13 (a Sunday), there will be a Metro-Manila wide Run for Road Safety in memory of Chit coming from four points of Metro Manila: Antipolo, Quirino Grandstand, Gateway Cubao and Fairview. These runs will all converge at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, where a coordinated program will be held. This is sponsored and coordinated with many civic organizations, the DOTC, MMDA, LTO, LTFRB, Automobile Association of the Philippines, Motorcycles clubs, bicycle clubs/cyclist clubs, commuters association, and our newly organized FAMILIES OF ROAD VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS (FRVS), in which I have been made the lead convenor and chairman, with former Bulacan Obet Pagdanganan and Figaro Executive Pepe Alcantara as my co-convenors.
“Please join us and invite others for this event on May 13 to commemorate Chit’s first anniversary. You may pass this on to others.”
