Dr. Chiz Escudero, MD, issues medical opinion: “Medical procedures not conclusive of Duterte’s state of health” Based on the news report by Faye Orellana of the Inquirer published today: Dr. Chiz Escudero, MD, issued his medical opinion that “the procedures mentioned by the President are diagnostic in nature and are not “findings” or conclusions regarding his state of health.” Dr. Senator Escudero, MD, explained this to Senate beat reporters in a text message. Unbeknownst to everyone except the Inquirer, while he was taking up his Masters degree in International and Comparative Law at Georgetown Law Center in Washington DC, Dr. Escudero was also burning the midnight oil by simultaneously going to the nearby equally prestigious medical school at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC where he acquired his medical degree. He then became a licensed medical practitioner in both the Philippines and the U.S.
According to the Inquirer, he has since been quietly practising medicine in Sorsogon since he took a leave from his law firm after being elected legislator. When asked by this reporter whether his medical practise among the poor sectors of Sorsogon would make him an excellent choice for governor, the heartthrob senator blushed and replied “Aw, shucks, you’re just saying that, I just want to help, I will always remain just Chiz – say Chiz!”
