Returning calls

A reporter from GMA Channel 7 requested for an interview for a legal opinion on Nani Perez’s case at the Ombudsman and I said I had a conflict-of-interest because I used to lawyer for him so I could not give an opinion on it and referred them to another lawyer and said they could get his number from Teddy Te’s blog site (ipinasa! ha-ha); you know, Teddy Te’s blog has their office address I think and phone numbers; anyway. But that lawyer too that I referred, declined.

This morning, at 7:45am, I have a missed call from a reporter of Magandang Umaga Pilipinas of ABS-CBN; I’m guessing it’s also on the same case (?).

I wasn’t able to return the call or to text him, sorry po,  because I had to rush out. (why am I using my blog site to return calls? Well, i think in the future all those programs will be combined into one program – email, SMS, blog — and not separate programs. It’s cheaper! J),

(anyway i don’t disclose people’s identities in the blogs so it’s alright, i respect other people’s right to privacy; Teddy Te’s blog site is well known and public).

Anyway: sorry to beg off on the topic,  conflict of interest.

       Thanks!
