May-Pac fight: by decision  (118-110 scored by Moretti and 116-112 by Clements and Feldman) : This is when empirical scientists would say: “The results are not conclusive” :  (Assuming these entertainment, este, professional,  boxing matches are not stage-managed), numbers don’t show the strength of the punches, each jab and punch should have a different value depending on the strength, determined visually and by tactile ways of measuring, using the standards of physicists, sports scientists, and sports medicine experts, overriden by any knockout (that’s just me, i’m not an expert) — in any case, here they are:

“Manny Pacquiao threw 429 punches in total, six punches less than Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s 435. The latter also connected more punches, according to Compubox statistics: Mayweather landed 34 percent of his punches while Pacquiao landed only 19 percent.

“Mayweather landed 25 percent of his jabs while Pacquiao landed 9 percent, less than half compared to his opponent.

“Mayweather also connected more power punches: 48 percent over Pacquiao’s 27 percent.” (CompuBox stats as published by the Inquirer).       The headlines should have been: “Hometown judges upset a Pacquiao win” (i went to town on that one, didn’t i: Rematch!)
