Astral Projection as your theory of the case
“Theory of the case” simply means your story. As many famous litigators put it and many more experienced lawyers will tell you: presenting your case is really just telling the Court your story. (But unlike laypeople, you tell it by evidence: you work your exhibits until you’re crying , you prep your witnesses until they are crying, etc).
In Satur’s case, the prosecution witnesses on which the fiscal and the judge relied for the issuance of an arrest warrant, said: They saw Ka Satur in person, in the flesh, live, real time, in Leyte, give orders for the murders stated in the complaints.
In order that these pieces of evidence could be used for your theory of the case, or for your story that Satur was in those places at those times giving those orders, the prosecution needs to avail of the following principles: 1.astral projection (according to Jaime Licauco, when you are sleeping, your astral self can be released from your earthly body and travel the universe and then come back); or 2. a person can be in two places at the same time (according to Einstein, you can bend time, and when you do, an object can be in different spaces); or 3. Satur has a look-alike who has been ambulating for twenty years and giving orders for murders (according to Vicky Belo, cosmetic surgery can change the way you look, of course you need to have the same bone structure as Satur’s, chin, brow, jaw, but she can make it happen.)
At those times that the witnesses saw Satur in the flesh, he was behind bars, from 1976 to 1985 he was in a maximum security detention unit then transferred to the Bicutan detention center or Camp Bagong Diwa. I know, we were with the College Editors Guild of the Philippines then and we gave him an award, the M.H. Del Pilar award, and colleagues visited him and we sent him letters and, in one note we said, tongue-in-cheek, that we were inviting him to the CEGP congress to personally receive the award and wished he would be able to attend. He replied that he was elated and wanted to attend and asked for our understanding for his not being able to attend and he sent in his stead, not his astral self, but Dean Malay, Mrs. Carolina Paula Malay, his daughter Silahis and his son Anto who received the award for him; it was in the front pages of Malaya newspaper. During the Aquino regime, after the peace talks broke down, Satur and Bobbie a year after or in 1989 were arrested and detained until 1992. I remember this because the military intelligence operatives who arrested them mimicked a “Miami Vice” operation (“Miami Vice” is a preppy cutesy T.V. detective series where the actors were always in the A-fashion list while chasing down mobsters in speed boats on the Miami coast). In Satur’s and Bobbie’s case, (Bobbie told me this story), three or four cars chased them and then in one intersection there were other military operatives in cars waiting and the intel made a screeching perpendicular block of their car, in front, at the back, and at the sides, and the operatives all came out guns drawn, a la “Miami Vice” , the T.V. series. They were detained for three years.
It was during these times when Satur was in detention that the witnesses said they saw him in the flesh giving orders for murders. Some lawyers use the adjective “ironclad” and say that they have an ironclad alibi (like, if you were giving a speech in a rally in Luneta and a witness said: they saw you strangle your administrative assistant in your office, and ten thousand witnesses saw you in Luneta while you were supposed to be strangling the victim). In Satur’s case, not only is it an ironclad alibi, he was, literally, ironclad, ironbound, behind bars, in Manila, when the witnesses supposedly saw him in Leyte.
Since we still do not have the technological know-how to bend time on earth in accordance with Einstein’s theory and apply this to Satur’s case, and since there is no record that Vicky Belo lends her services for commission of criminal activities, the prosecution will have to do with astral projection for its theory of the case.
Under this theory, all of us have an astral self (or a supernatural spirit or counterpart) that can project and fly or travel or walk about while we are sleeping. The proof of this is: sometimes when you are sleeping, you have a dream that you are in the same room where you are sleeping and you are looking at yourself while you are sleeping, if you consult a psychic, the psychic will tell you that that was not a dream, it was your astral self or supernatural spirit hovering above your earthly body. Or when you think you are already awake and you sat up but you couldn’t get your feet out of the bed and then you see yourself still lying down; your psychic consultant will tell that that wasn’t a dream, your astral self had almost left your body but your rational self spoiled the travel.
In which case, during the preliminary investigation, the prosecution should have presented Jaime Licauco as expert witness. Did the fiscal and the judge who issued the arrest warrant ever ask Jaime Licauco to explain the phenomenon? Of Satur being in detention and his astral self being in Leyte? There should be an expert witness. It’s a new theory in criminal law.
In which case, the judge should issue an astral, supernatural, warrant of arrest. And designate a detention place in the astral plane. Until such time, the accused is well-advised to be unavailable until he has found his astral, supernatural counterpart, and has prepped him.

consider this: After falling into deep sleep, you getting floating in the surroundings. You look around everyone and see your physical body at rest. The thought which you might possibly be dead tends to make you shudder, and people scream. You wake upwards, your hands clammy, and you also realize you’re back within your bed. It was many a dream. Or appeared to be it?
