Windows, WordPress, Pinnacle. I’m guessing WordPress has license/ permission from the 31 or so songs in its playlist (see blog post/ template below) so it makes you choose from that playlist, and the reason it doesn’t allow you to create your own is that it doesn’t want you to download music from the Web and use it for the new feature (downloading music is a copyright violation). (so if you want to upload a video, you still have to create it in YouTube where there are zillions of copyright violations then upload it in your blog). On the other hand, Windows Vista’s slideshow lets you click your photos in a series and it automatically animates them (you can choose from a long list of transitions). So you don’t have to get Pinnacle where you have to capture the photos/ video, then drag frames, then choose transitions then drag transitions, then capture audio, then drag audio. There’s no capturing and dragging in Windows Vista; but I thought Pinnacle owned those transitions. So WordPress has it; no need to capture, drag, three times (video, transitions, audio). When you think about it, Windows Vista stole it from Pinnacle; well, not really, because they improved on it….well… yeah.
