Nails out

There was a catfight today between Trillanes and Zubiri on ANC (and why should the word “catfight” be used only for women snarling at each other? Photo of a pusakal; pusang kalye; alley cat. I named him “Trillanes”

If you heard it, it sounded like two alley cats tearing at each others face it was live, albeit, remote, by phonepatch; Trillanes said that he could not bear being in the Senate next to a “cheat” like Zubiri and that the first thing he would do is to investigate this “cheat”; Zubiri called the station and said that he would sue Trillanes for libel and that the latter only showed his “immaturity” by not being aware of what he called the “rules of engagement” among politicians, that he was not afraid of him and during Estrada’s time he was in the opposition and was not afraid then, why should he be afraid of Trillanes.

The ANC chargen producer just couldn’t resist it: he/ she changed the caption to: “Trillanes calls Zubiri a cheat, Zubiri calls Trillanes immature.”

What Migz Zubiri doesn’t know is that: Trillanes is trying to foster/ maintain his image of being a rebel; when he first heard the news that he won, television footage showed him with a wide grin, it made him look gleeful (so, that’s how he looks when he’s cheerful); his handlers might have told him, “Di bagay sa ‘yo.” (“The gleeful look doesn’t look good on you.”) The next day during his oathtaking and in the days that followed, he exerted every effort to maintain his “serious” mien and far-away look. Migz doesn’t get it.

Their nails are out! That was fun! More, more! It beats the Paris Hilton- Lindsay Lohan- Hilary Duff snarls! Trillanes doesn’t know how to handle Zubiri and Zubiri’s claws showed, fun, fun, fun. Sa puti ako, sa puti! Nangangalmot! Sino sa grey, mabagsik! O pustahan sa puti sa grey!
