It’s Friday i’m not going to give any legal opinions.
On the Meralco-Justice Sabio row, please see the Rules of Court for the procedure and substance…. (suplada. hahaha.) No, i’ll come back for it and say sumthin. Something. I will.
For those who are complaining that the audiovisuals in this blog are biased in favour of American songs and artists, it’s because 95% of audio-visual materials uploaded in the internet use American songs. What a choice.
I found one that’s a truly original, amateur audio-visual production, Filipino, very rough, very spontaneous; in fact, the kids were just rehearsing for their gig; well, they’re not just some kids, they’re the U.P. Concert Chorus but their teacher was away….. and they were practising by themselves inside a classroom and one their classmates/ friends filmed them hahaha (i’ve defined “original production” as: an audio-visual material where the person who uploaded it in the internet shot the film himself/herself, or he/she caused it to be uploaded to share with the world.). The film is very, very grainy; the lighting is just one fluorescent lamp, dark, but the voice was glorious; who was that kid? And he wasn’t even wearing or using a microphone, and the mike of the hand-held camera was far away, but his voice controls everything. And so adept was he that at one point, he thought he would erase the white board, and he did and he was still singing melodiously with sentiment. After this, the rest of his talented classmates followed, still singing the heartfelt Filipino ballad but because it was practice they started giving in to their inner divas and broke into a Beyoncé hip-hop dance and still singing in perfect harmony and perfect pitch. (it’s towards the end, you have to be patient with the buffering. I know, the technical aspect of the video is bad, but talent comes through). These kids could be doing somersaults and jumping off a cliff but still singing in perfect harmony and pitch. (grainy video posted in YouTube April 11, 2006.)
Okay. i already posted an original, amateur video production by Filipinos, there are very few original ones in the internet. Please be patient with the buffering; the videographer didn’t even seem to be serious when he/she was filming it. It’s worth watching!
