The shorter i write, the less i edit.

When it’s about the Rules of Court, i hardly edit (like the other day’s post on special civil actions).

When it involves media law (except new media), it’s one or two edits (like the live media coverage post.)

When it’s consti law… summarized, pleased, pleasant, don’t have to edit.

And so, the moral of the story is….Stop writing.

(if it’s new media, health posts, or “stream- of- consciousness” or what passes for it, or some such kind — i can’t stop the edit…)

And so the lesson is: the latter kind of editing is a form of second-guessing (when it’s a new field or not your field and you want to be sure  you’re not misleading your readers/ viewers with your observations/ opinion… and when i’m blabbering; the irony is, it’s the blabber that gets a lot of edits…second-guesses)

And so the moral of the story is…to stick to your comfort zone. Oh, what a boring blog if i just wrote about the Rules of Court…

Don’t you like it when it’s new terrain and i’m second-guessing myself …? you prefer me to writhe when i’m writing, lemme know have to run along now.
