Classes in high school, elementary, kindergarten, and prep in Metro Manila have been suspended by the Department of Education today, August 2, 2011, due to expected (predicted) heavy rains, according to DZMM (ABS-CBN).

(this blog post reached 3 digits in two minutes after posting, i checked the stats again  after the email; then it doubled after another two minutes.  For  class- suspension-days, the blog is  actually just repeating what was reported in the news by the “traditional media”; many rely on…. googling the search words. The search phrases  and corresponding hits for each come off the stats page of the dashboard, so… that lets the blog admin know that  many of those viewers are here by….chance! hope next time it is by choice — you can come back to this blog tomorrow and other days, i have a lot more.)
