Standing at the threshold of the
“Good Will Hunting House”
in Eagle Rock, California,
built in 1923 in classic storybook-style architecture, and recently declared a historic-cultural monument by the city council.
In 1995-1996, two young men rented the house and finished their screenplay here, not knowing that at that time. they, too, were at the threshold of a storybook career.
That screenplay became an award-winning movie and a modern classic: “Good Will Hunting”, screenplay by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
