beams at the speed of light when greenlit
but redlit half the time this week.
the system settings says it’s 65 Mbps (installed a couple of weeks ago, the 4G LTE connection, see earlier post). To laymanize that: When it’s working, you can click multiple news portals with at least 32 active widgets each, and they upload simultaneously in half-a-second (previously, it took 45 minutes for one news portal to open).
Or, to laymanize that further: it’s like clicking open multiple television sets.
Or to contextualize that: in Singapore, which has the fastest internet in Asia, the internet speed is 61 Mbps.
But… for the newly installed 4G LTE, half the time this week, it was on red…
Or, to laymanize that: half the time this week, i did not have an internet connection at home.
mabilis pag nandito pero palaging wala (it’s fast when it’s here but mostly it’s not here) — in the last 3 or 4 days of this week anyway. Then, after three hours of not having a signal, the telecom sends a text alert to the mobile that we may be experiencing difficulty in using the LTE but that the issue is being addressed. Thank you for informing.
To be fair, today it’s working
while i’m checking
and not surfing 🙂
i should be thankful. Ok, i am thankful.
kaya lang nuong maraming emails na dapat i-check, tsaka sya nawala, you end up using the small screen of the mobile; nuong merong minomonitor na incoming notices, tatlong oras nawala ng signal.
to be fair,
when it’s here
it’s faster than a zephyr.
Salamat bumalik ang signal
kasingbilis ng liwanag
kapag hindi lagalag
ako’y nagpapasalamat,
nagbibigay lang ng feedback 🙂
