Thank you for registering. i look forward to a fruitful semester with everyone.       For students asking for exercise of the so-called “Teacher’s Prerogative” of waiving the maximum allowed for each section and allowing enlistment after the class is fully booked: I checked the online registration system and saw that there are other courses available for students to enlist in; therefore, there is no necessity of exercising any “Teacher’s Prerog”.    Regrets.       Don’t worry — there is still the next semester, at which pre-enrolment time,  the student should make sure that he/she pre-enlists promptly to be assured of a slot.  Re. this sem (and the next sem, as with all other semesters,) undersigned will exercise the “Teacher’s Prerog” only upon a special request from the College Secretary on the ground that the student concerned is graduating in June 2016 (or the current semester) and he/she needs the particular course with no other sections open. In all other cases, as stated, the student can enlist next sem and make sure to participate in the computerized pre-enlistment system so that the departments can methodically open the exact number of sections required. This is the best way of enforcing the computerized pre-enlistment system. Tnx.
