    According to GMA 7 News reporter Rowena Salvacion, who kept blabbering while the national anthem was playing onsite at the House of Representatives opening session, 200 congressmen have signed a resolution installing Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as Speaker of the House. The Makabayan block (Bayan Muna, Act-Phil, Gabriela, Kabataan, etc.) on the other hand will nominate Act-Phil partylist Rep. Antonio “Tonchi” Tinio for Speaker to counter the Alvarez-Arroyo toss-up.
