The Deans of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman constituted as the UP Diliman Executive Committee, joined by the UP Integrated School high school principal, department heads, librarian, and staff, in a move unprecedented in history, issued an official resolution and statement opposing the nomination of its alumnus, Harry Roque, presidential spokesperson, to the UN International Law Commission, and stressed that: “He has a very poor record of defending human rights…” .
