Convo w concierge 17th Floor south of the metro when the mobile earthquake app alerted “Expect earthquake in your area in 10 seconds”

Concierge (C) : Ha… mam wala

B. A. : Sabi ng mobile ko may earthquake

Then the floor starts to sway forward… then back gently like a boat cast out at sea… it felt like being carried by a big 🌊 wave but nothing was shaking or shattering

C : Ah yes mam may earthquake

Then the staff starts to go to the glass offices to check on people and the security staff is on comms … and i said LUMILINDOL! LUMILINDOL! and everybody looks at me

A few minutes later, some personnel stepped out of their offices and said they felt dizzy but they were smiling

i’m sitting at the lobby of the Megaworld Main Building.

The staff is nice, there’s also Wi-Fi, coffee, pastries .

And it seems earthquake -proof.
