with their mobiles apparently getting so many alerts from GCs (group chats) of Dems stalwarts texting of their chagrin, exasperation, disappointment, and “panic” — in the CNN anchor’s words — that the CNN anchors just had to report what was going on. They didn’t lie or sugar-coat.
As anyone who has ever had to appear on live TV or livestream screen would attest, TV or the LCD screen is a “cruel medium”.
The playback of the debate would show that President Biden’s physical and literal voice had all but disintegrated, it was inaudible, raspy, broken down; he also mumbled thru his answers half the time, and stumbled over bisyllabic and monosyllabic words, which Trump punctuated by suddenly looking at him when he fumbled, giving a puzzled look then looking away with a sneer.
i hate to say this, it wasn’t good for the incumbent at all. Not good at all.
