Stephen Colbert show shutdown by owners Paramount comes in the heels of the show’s spoof of the $16M Paramount payment-settlement of Trump’s lawsuit over Kamala interview by “60 Minutes”

Paramount paid Trump $16 million to settle a lawsuit over an interview of Kamala Harris by the show “60 Minutes”.

Stephen Colbert and the Late Show writers and producers spoofed the settlement a couple of weeks ago –

— followed also by  many other spoofs of Trump’s antics of warmongering and being included in child sex trafficker Epstein’s client list

Yesterday, Stephen Colbert announced that their show will air its final season up to May 2026 with non-renewal.
