ANSWER: Family members and friends safe. More than a hundred dead in Typhoon Trami #KristinePh in the Philippines. Fatalities: Drowning in floods; or crushed to death, suffocation in mudslides, landslides. Reduce fatalities by providing safe shelter for homeless, and by relocation and providing livelihood for families too hard up that they’ve become settlers in danger zones, no-build zones, hazard areas, flood-prone districts.

33 Dead, 8 missing: Govt Officials’ Repetitive Excuse, Flooding: Rains dumped 1-month’s rain in 1hr – is like saying, it rained a lot that’s why it flooded. If first time, no preparedness, maybe. If 2nd or 3rd time in same locality, no preparedness, 😓 SMH. No assessment, no resolutions, no courses of action, no timetables. No audit-performance of LGUs, no natl govt oversight

Updated as of 4am: Number of fatalities Typhoon Kristine: 33 dead, 8 missing. Government Officials’ Repetitive Excuse for Flooding: Rains dumped one-month’s rain in one hour, or rains dumped 3-months’ rain in one month – is like saying, it rained a lot that’s why it flooded.  If it’s the first time it happened, the lack of preparedness is maybe understandable. If it’s the second or third time that it has happened in the same locality and there is still lack of preparedness ( 🫨🤢 SMH shaking my head) , no longer acceptable. No assessment done and published everytime it happens, no resolutions, no courses of action, no timetables. No audit-performance of local government units and no oversight from the national government.
