Processing/gathering of personal info (e.g. screenshots w names of private convo, etc) without consent/ NOT voluntarily given: viol of Data Privacy Act, max penalty 3yrs prison against person who made screenshot; Exposing sensitive personal info (e.g., screenshots of intimate private convo with names) max penalty 6yrs prison against person who posted online. Therefore: these are special law crimes.
Posting these online without consent or distributing these without consent is prohibited under the Data Privacy Act. HOWEVER, if these were acquired legally, e.g., Cadajas vs. People case where the accused gave his password, etc., these are admissible as exhibits or evidence in a court of law in a criminal proceeding, i.e., can be used in a case if acquired legally; but other than that, they cannot be posted online as raw materials without permission.
