2.For her staff or associates etc who may have her phone number: You gave out her phone number without her permission (viol of rt to privacy)
3.Not having permission to have her number, you texted her (same, violation of rt to privacy, there’s a reason you don’t have her number, there’s a reason for that, she does not want to give her number to you)
4.She does NOT reply to your text. It means : Tigilan mo siya (stop it! Stop texting her even if you disguise it as a group invite, stop sending her texts, this is UNWANTED behavior)
5.You ask her friends and staff if this is really her number and why does she not reply. Stop it! Stop! Unwanted Behavior)
6.Not having permission to have her number, you call her up saying it was an emergency. Stop it! Stop contacting her. You are an entity that is not allowed to cross her boundaries, no obligation to explain on her part)
7.You saw a profile-photo of her cat 🐈 on Viber and guessed that it was her and proceeds to text her on Viber disguised as a casual greeting. Stop it! There’s a reason she’s not using her photo and name on Viber. Texting her there is also Unwanted Behavior.
PHYSICAL
8.Kapag nasa loob siya ng sasakyan at naka-park ito, nilalapitan mo ang sasakyan nya LALO NA SA GABI at sinisilip siya sa loob nang hindi ka naman tinatawag, nang hindi naman siya humihingi ng tulong, nang walang probable cause o disturbance, nang hindi ka naman binibigyan ng greeting o kahit sulyap, lapit ka nang lapit sa sasakyan niya tuwing nasa loob siya nito: STOP IT! Tigilan mo ito. Stalking ito! Krimen ito sa ilalim ng Safe Spaces Act. (Whenever she’s inside her parked car ESPECIALLY AT NIGHTTIME you go near the car and peer inside the car even if you are not being called, not being asked for help, no probable cause or disturbance, no greeting or even glance coming from her, you keep approaching her car whenever she’s there. STOP IT! This is stalking! It’s a crime under the Safe Spaces Act.)
9.Inaabangan mo siya bumaba ng kotse nya para i-greet siya kahit hindi siya sumasagot sa mga greeting mo, inaabangan mo siya sa pamamagitan ng paghintay sa daraanan nya o pagtayo sa pathway nya at pagtunghay sa kanya. Stalking ito. Stalking! Tigilan mo ito! (You lie in wait for her to get out of her car so you can “greet” her even if she does not return your “greeting”, you lie in wait by standing at the corridor or pathway where she has to pass even if your greeting is not returned, it is unwanted. This is stalking. Stop it!)
10.Kapag naglalakad siya, sinusundan mo siya — o kaya ay bigla ka na lang sumusulpot mula kung saan, from out of nowhere at i-greet siya kahit hindi nya sinasagot ang greeting mo. Tigilan mo ito! Stalking ito. Krimen ito! (Whenever she’s walking, you follow her, or you suddenly show up from out of nowhere to “greet” her even if she does not return your greeting. Stop it! This is stalking – it’s a crime.)
11.Bigla na lang sinusundan mo siya papunta sa kotse niya lalo na sa gabi sa kung anumang dahilan — bawal ito at dapat kang ipakulong. (You suddenly follow her going to her car especially at night for whatever reason — this is prohibited and you should be sent to jail)
12.Kapag may bukas na ilaw sa loob ng bahay nya, tumatayo ka sa tapat ng bintana nito at sinisilip siya sa loob. Stalker! (When there’s a light open insider the house, you stand in front of her window and try to peer. Stalker!)
13.Sa isang party na napilitan siya pumunta kasi required, sa likod niya na hindi niya nakikita, tumatayo ka nang sobrang lapit at lumalabag sa personal space nang walang dahilan. Isa kang psycho na dapat ikulong. (At a party where she forced herself to go because it was required, behind her where she could not see, you stand behind her too close that it violates personal space. Psycho. You belong in jail.)
14.At lahat ng cat-callers ay lumalabag sa Safe Spaces Act (And all cat-callers are violators of the Safe Spaces Act)
Women experience harassment on a daily basis — inside their homes, their offices, in the grocery, on the streets, in public transport.
