Work hard, strive honestly, & the odds will be in your favor: Reminders to Students b4 end-of-sem

As planned and scheduled, we will have our 50-pointer test next week.
All those who are scheduled to make their presentations, i.e., all who have not made any presentation, should be prepared this week, and should be set up before the start of classhours.

For ethics students: The final media monitor (after the 12th media monitor) can be posted here as comments or links. Only one more will be allowed and any or all bonus posts not yet submitted.

For all students: Please do not be absent when the 50-pointer test is given. No more additional points, no more additional credit, and no more bonus points will be given after the 50-pointer test. A final reiteration of how grades are computed will be shown. Only students who are flunking not due to absences but on account of lack of points , or whose class standing is 5.0 or 4.0 not due to absences but due to lack of points, may take the final exam on finals week but NOT for additional points but only for the purpose of determining whether they will pass or fail, i.e., only for the purpose of determining whether their grade would be 3.0 or 5.0. The die is cast after the 50-pointer – the only highest grade of those who are flunking after the 50-pointer — should they decide to take a final exam — is 3.0. As practised before, no special treatment will be given to any student for any reason. Students who have exceeded three absences and who did not drop the class will automatically get a grade of 5.0 as provided for in the University Code.

Prepare well  and the odds  will well like  a  tide  on your side.
