Your car is an extension of your personal space and there is a requirement of probable cause before it can be intruded upon. Probable cause on the streets means the existence of facts that can be perceived (it can be seen or heard etc) that show that there is a crime that has happened or ongoing, for example, you hear shots fired, or you smell smoke or something burning, or you hear shouts for help, or you can hear someone choking or breaking the windows etc. Probable cause on the streets.

Re: Safe Spaces Act

Dear Officers, staff members, and friends in the administrative office of the (name of office) ______ _____

Magandang araw po. (Greetings). Na-appreciate ko po na may mga nakatalaga na team ng security guards sa (name of place) ______ (We appreciate that there is a team of security guards assigned to the (name of place) ______)  upang maiwasan ang anumang kriminalidad tulad ng akyat-bahay at iba pa. (in order to prevent criminality). Makisuyo lang po ako ng pabor sa administrative office of the (name of office) ______ (May we just request for a favor from the administrative office of the (name of office ______) na paki-relay po sana sa tanggapan ng mga security guards (to please relay to the office of the security guards) ang mga sumusunod na pakiusap na umaayon po sa Safe Spaces Act (the following appeal in accordance with the Safe Spaces Act) :

   Kapag nasa loob po ako ng kotse at wala namang probable cause at hindi naman ako humihingi ng tulong (Whenever undersigned is in the car and there is no probable cause and undersigned is not in any way asking for help of any kind) :  Hindi po kelangan na lapit nang lapit kapag nasa loob ako ng kotse at sinisilip ako sa loob (There is no reason for the security guard to keep approaching and getting near and to look and peer in the car whenever undersigned is in the car)

  Ang sagot ng security guard noong tinanong ko ito sa dalawang okasyon (The reply of the security guard when i asked about this on two occasions kung bakit lapit nang lapit at sinisilip ako sa kotse (why they keep approaching and getting near and peering inside), ang ibinigay na sagot ay : “Magbibigay kami ng assist.” (the reply given by the security guard is: “We are giving you assistance.” Sinabi ko po na kapag kelangan ko ng tulong ay hihingi ako ng tulong, (i replied that when i need help i will ask for help) at tigilan nila ito (and to stop what they are doing).

   Paulit-ulit na po ito sa halos kalahating taon (this has been happening for almost half-a-year) na umiiwas na lang ako (that i just used evasive actions). Marami po akong pending na trabaho at assignments (i have a hundred pending assignments and work right now) at hindi nais na palakihin ito nang hindi kelangan kaya (and do not want to make a fuss of this, so) … paki-relay na lang po sa pinuno at tanggapan ng security guards (please just relay this to their commanding officer and their office.) Marami pong salamat. (Thank you.)
