The candidate has to win in as many counties as he/she/they can… Aspirant needs 270 in the electoral college to win. In this case, because each is certain of their bailiwick States, Dems and GOP fighting it out in what- i-would- call “uncertain” States or what the media calls swing States or battleground States : only seven or so swing States are, it seems now, a “determinant” in who would be President.
Kamala and Trump are in “statistical ties” in all seven battleground States.
