Answer: An emotional support dog of the University of the Philippines Diliman (U.P. Diliman).

And why?

Here’s why:

1.To be hugged by students, faculty, staff, and everyone.

2.To attend classes and make students feel at home.

3.During exam week review — to be invited by students to their study halls so they can pet me and be decompressed by lightly squeezing me and telling me their horror stories.

4.To be in compliance with the Monday and formal settings dress code of U.P. Diliman of ecru-colored Filipiniana — by being in my natural cream-colored fur at all times in all kinds of weather. My ecru garb doesn’t wear off. At all.

5.To be cast in a starring role in an independent short film like Kotton, the emotional support dog of U.P. Diliman

6.To be a model in photoshoots of different distributors of dog food and dog supplies

7.To nod off to sleep when this human below begins to sound like a monotone cicada buzzing (see video below, a massacre of a Mariah Carey cover)

Answer: Personal, mini hovering cameras for everyone,

with remote control of course — it would be like having your own AI photographer wherever you go

(these are already being manufactured as small drones but not miniaturized and not in large commercial quantities as to make them ubiquitous)

AFTER (June 19, 2026) …Trying to recreate the same pose from last year after gaining 30 pounds (on the part of the human)

by hugging Kotton —

Kotton this time, instead of melting and offering his belly, turns around

and tries to lick  the human’s face

30 pounds weight gain in one year of the human, on the other hand, Kotton the U.P. emotional support dog, in one year, starred in a short film in Ateneo where he played a stray dog —

his character was the most applauded during the screening.

Throughout the year, he earned free dog food, supplies and collars for his group

by modelling in photo shoots for various companies,

he has also starred in numerous Live TV interviews

representing the gentle face of the University of the Philippines
