    UP News: “UP biologists have developed a model capable of detecting lymphovascular invasion (LVI) (which) … occurs when cancer cells invade (and) spread to various parts of the body…” (according to this news report, heretofore, doctors needed tissue samples for this — now, this invention would cause a less invasive, swifter tool or test for diagnosis).

For the Fantabulous Five: Tito Sen Senator Tito Sotto, Sen Ping Lacson, Sen Kiko Pangilinan, Sen Risa Hontiveros, Sen Bam Aquino: The Senators to Follow in the 20th Congress

Watch the “opening play” of the Fantabulous Five from yesterday’s plenary: A Masterclass in floor tactics … We were captivated!

“The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful

Never revealing their depth … “

… with Tito Sen (the ultimate playing coach) opening with a Motion to Table the Motion to Dismiss — the Motion to Table being the motion that takes precedence over and enjoys priority over all other motions (did you see that — a come-from behind move, ang galíng). Then a quick-to-the-draw push and boost from Sen Ping Lacson with the argument that the Motion to Dismiss cannot be deliberated on because it is not included in any of the motions that the plenary can receive and discuss … ang husay! And then, a  swift and dexterous  follow-up from Sen Kiko Pangilinan, impressive! And another skillful crossover play from Sen Risa Hontiveros, awesome! Back to Tito Sen who makes the three-point swish and… yehey!!!

 (It was at this point probably that the Protect-the-Corrupt senators started getting texts from their principal to earn their keep – “hoy, ba’t nakaupo lang kayo” says their girlthugboss)

 The Fantabulous Five are the senators who cannot be bought by the Manchurian Candidate.

If there is time, a news director can probably sit the Fantabulous Five for a behind-the-scenes reveal of how the play was made and executed. The Fantabulous Five are the senators to follow and keep up with in the 20th Congress —
