embedded audio track… wait seven seconds to pixelize… this is a test of of your internet server speed … and your patience… and your obsessions… my internet server moves at a glacial speed… but since we don’t have snow in the Philippines… i’d say it moves at an EDSA pace… on an ordinary day … everyday… on weekends… on holidays…if your server is slow… wait a decade to hear… and it’s here! the sound should be here by the time you reach here… (how was you internet server speed? ok? still frowning and squinting?… or smiling 🙂 … you should be hearing it now…)
The clock showed 15 minutes on the 2.5k, on the same, familiar track, but with a surge of energy that would not happen again until the next cycle. There was a gasp, and a gust, and all at once my lungs burst wide open, exploding silently. Suddenly, there was a big brass horn blowing packs of air in my chest, inward, busting the arteries; I had flaps all over my body and they all opened outward, the wind rushing through them, out of them, howling and bellowing. There was a whistling of unruly breezes brushing through the trees, and all around, I was being tossed like a leaf, infinitely rising, fluttering, disappearing.

And then I was free.
(Running a day before the Habagat or southwest monsoon, this was the sound of the southwest wind on the track)
