To my surprise, this blog was listed again in the Top 15 WORLDWIDE Growing Blogs last Sept. 16, 2009. That’s worldwide.
That’s in a field of 302,354 active blogs globally everyday (5.2 million blogs across all time) (source: WordPress website). WordPress also hosts CNN’s Political Ticker; Dow Jones’ AllThingsD; NFL; Time Inc’s The Page; People Magazine’s Style Watch; “famous bloggers like Mark Cuban, John Scalzi, and Joy Behar; corporate blogs for Flickr and KROQ; and many more” (source: WordPress website).
WordPress defines the top growing blogs as those that experienced the highest spike in blog stats in a single day.
This blog was in the high four figures at the end of that 24-hour period; that afternoon, i was chatting online with KQ about that post, because the post was linked in her Facebook account and in many other people’s Facebook accounts, and my stats was growing by the hundreds per hour while we were chatting; the blog reached the high four figures.
