Breaking news: SC unanimously dismisses con-ass case for being premature (as predicted here)

The Supreme Court unanimously dismissed, in a decision penned by Chief Justice Reynato Puno Jr. , the petitions filed by Oliver Lozano, et al , on the constituent assembly to change the Charter, for being premature.

Or…. they could have dismissed it with prejudice but only as to petitioners Oliver Lozano, et al, with costs!….. as requested in this little blog.

Anyway, sweeties, here are the links to the two blog posts where, early morning June 4 it was predicted here that the petition would be dismissed for being premature and for being a mere request for advisory opinion (Senate held a caucus later that day with the same legal opinion); and another post where that was elaborated on; lemme get a copy of the SC decision itself, i’ll try to copy it here. i like my consti law.

go ahead: convene the rump session (half of a constituent assembly)

a piece of your mind (on the planned con-ass to change the charter)
