News close to your heart, chosen by a machine, ironically: That’s the news site i made this morning out of curiosity with the app. The stories are lined up, curated, and laid out by a robot (a software) based on algorithm, or what the machine thinks would interest the viewers. It has 50 or so news and feature stories in text, videos, and photos, it updates twice a day, and it took only 30 minutes to construct, then the machine takes over (it produces morning and evening editions automatically without any work from me… well, i have to read them).
