First Set of Questions:
Q:There are no more available slots for Eng13 in the Advanced Registration. Is it more advisable to take it now (Eng13) , during the first semester, or during the second semester?
Answer: Kindly see the checklist. You may take it up during the first sem or the second sem. If there are no more slots available, you may take it up as stated in the checklist: in the second sem.
Q: Will more classes/slots open for Eng 13, should I take it this semester?
Answer: I don’t know whether the English Department will open more sections for English 13 this semester or next semester. With your permission, i am anonymously publishing this Q and A to inform the relevant offices about the problem of lack of sections and lack of slots for English 13. Don’t worry too much, the college secretary will help you so that you are not unjustly underloaded due to lack of sections and lack of slots. .
Q: And if I were to take it during the second semester, what class/es would I have to take this semester in lieu of Eng 13?
Answer: For your first semester (this semester now), kindly follow the checklist.
Q. Does the remote learning set-up affect the number of units we are to take this semester, or will we still follow the regular 18 units?
Answer: No, the remote learning set-up does not affect the prescribed number of units, 18 units, in the checklist. Don’t worry too much about this: the assigned faculty members have been training for remote learning and will be flexible. If you have any problems of any kind, please consult with me or the college secretary.
Second Set of Questions:
Intro to Question: Regarding my subjects I have already got a block that has granted me the following subjects; J100, Comm100, and Math 10. For the next enlistment I still have to get the following classes; Kas1, Philo1, Eng13 and PE as those were presented by the CRS.
Comment: Ok, good job with enlisting in J100, Comm 100, and Math 10.
Question: If I am to take Philo1 and Eng13 for this sem, would that become an Elective for the next semester? And If so may I take next semester the required GEs for the second year (Soc Sci 1 & Arts 1)?
Answer: Philo 1 and Eng 13 are specifically prescribed courses. If you take them up in the first semester and are able to  finish them, then you can move on to take up the other courses that you have not taken up such as the GE Electives stated in the checklist.
As to Soc Sci 1 and Arts 1, as long as you have fulfilled the prerequisites if any you may take them up.
Question: I would also like to ask if there will be a new section opened for Eng13? Reports from other freshman in the same course as me said that the last slot has been taken and I would really like to take it for this semester.
