About the site: Before the pandemic, the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Human Kinetics Gymnasium – Basketball Court was also home to student-gymnasts, volleyball players, ballet dancers, cheer dancers, folk dancers, hip-hop etc, fencing athletes, weightlifters, table tennis players, and all sports science and physical education faculty and students, aside from servicing about 5,000 students taking up their P.E. classes (U.P. requires 12 units of P.E.), and in the summer/midyear break, it offers physical recreational classes to the U.P. community (all these activities explain the floor mats and equipment you see stashed on the side close to the walls of the gym). Nowadays, it is the spacious and airy site for the vaccination of U.P. Diliman community members (photo shot yesterday)
