2 days ago: From ABS-CBN News: “Netflix subscription fees may rise if MTRCB regulates industry: media law expert” Video (The actual MTRCB Schedule of Review and Classification Fees embedded here)

Video produced by ABS-CBN, used here non-commercially for academic purposes …

… will pixelate below the freeze-frame photo and the embedded MTRCB Schedule of Fees, in five seconds

Embedded below is the MTRCB Schedule of Review and Classification Fees

Internet video-streaming is outside the jurisdiction of the MTRCB, but based on the schedule of fees for movies in digital format (see embedded schedule of fees), one can get an idea of how much the MTRCB would charge and mulct from video-streaming platforms, if it would have its way through a new law (these charges and additional expenses would be passed on to subscribers)

Netflix alone has 17,000 titles
