Answer: The Constitution.

The Impeachment Trial is off to a bad start as the Senate majority prohibits the news media

immediate access to Respondent Sara Duterte’s Answer to be filed tomorrow,

in a Senate memo issued today. See copy of the memo, blog admin marked the paragraph with red bars,

the other paragraphs prohibit the video recording of the actual filing by the lawyers

and interviews on the corridors, lobbies, hallways, and on certain floors except in a designated room (for interviews),

which violate news gathering rights,

but I chose this specific paragraph because it is squarely covered by the constitutional right of access to public records of public interest:

Answer: Unify Interdisciplinarily. Yes.

Finally, the Philippine President acknowledged that Senator Bato is a fugitive. The UP College of Media and Communication is the first public institution to point out that Senator Bato was a fugitive running away from a valid international arrest warrant for crimes against humanity,

in a statement of concern on the role of the media last May 12 –

— a position paper  that has become its most viral, released 12 hours after shots were fired inside the Senate endangering the lives of many including media workers and government employees,

36 hours after Senator Bato ran away from his arresting officers,

and 7 hours after Senator Bato fled the Senate building.

On the other hand, here is the Philippine President 24 hours ago before an international audience in Japan expressing that he viewed the Senate chaos with “horror” at that time as the Senate has “descended” into “sheltering a fugitive”:

By the way, the UPCMC statement was written by an interdisciplinary team of five female faculty members across departments and programs

and reviewed and edited by the college executive board consisting of representatives of each department and institute in the college.

It was republished by the University of the Philippines Diliman in its official X site.
