The Impeachment Trial is off to a bad start as the Senate majority prohibits the news media
immediate access to Respondent Sara Duterte’s Answer to be filed tomorrow,
in a Senate memo issued today. See copy of the memo, blog admin marked the paragraph with red bars,
the other paragraphs prohibit the video recording of the actual filing by the lawyers
and interviews on the corridors, lobbies, hallways, and on certain floors except in a designated room (for interviews),
which violate news gathering rights,
but I chose this specific paragraph because it is squarely covered by the constitutional right of access to public records of public interest:
