“The Words”: Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons

An aspiring writer ignored largely by publishers, found a manuscript and published it as his own:

The Old Man (played by Jeremy Irons): “I have a story, a very good story. Do you want to hear it? There he is, a dumb kid wondering what the future held. He wanted to be a writer but the words just wouldn’t come… Then all of a sudden there she was. He saw a world that was bigger than the one he’d been born into… What once was his whole world suddenly seemed small. He knew the life he wanted. He knew what he had to go to get it.”

Rory (played by Bradley Cooper): “I’m not who I thought I was and I’m terrified that I never will be. I look at my life. I look at everybody’s life. It’s not right!”

xxx

Rory: “I simply tried to set down the truth as I imagined it, the story of one man. I never thought a little book like this would affect so many people.”

xxx

Dora (played by Zoe Saldana): “It’s so different than anything you’ve ever done before.”

xxx

The Old Man: “You think you can just steal a man’s life and expect there to be no price to pay? … We all make difficult choices in life. The hard thing is to live with them.”

can’t blog, happy weekend! Christina Aguilera in rehearsal

some people like this in its original simple melody or the bluesy-subdued version; Christina Aguilera has one million runs & big, full siren notes & improvs in it — and she has the vocal prowess for a jaw-dropping performance, even in rehearsal. (uploaded by “ReservedSpirit”, Grammy rehearsal, produced by the Grammy production house i suppose, used here non-commercially for review purposes). can’t blog, happy weekend!
