From the University of the Philippines Diliman twitter and FB sites: “As a precautionary measure, the Office of the Chancellor, UP Diliman is suspending CLASSES AND WORK for tomorrow (August 13, 2018) to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff. Front line service staff are expected to report for work to ensure delivery of service in these critical times.
“This is based on current satellite information and analysis by the Synoptic Laboratory, Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology, UP Diliman College of Science forecasting continued heavy rainfall tonight and tomorrow.
“The suspension will also give time to our colleagues to recover from the unexpected flooding that occurred.
From the U.P. System FB site 3 hours ago: “For UPCAT applicants who submitted their applications on July 30 via dropbox before the midnight deadline, your Test Permits are now available at the UP Office of Admissions Test Permit Releasing area for submissions on July 30 or earlier.
“Please bring your Claim Stubs and IDs and, if any, the required documents that you were unable to submit at the time of submission (i.e. deficiencies).
