Don’t   you   see  the   historical   poetry

 of  it  all:  

Exactly 120 years ago, in 1896,

the Katipunan national revolutionary movement rose up in arms

to overthrow the Spanish colonizers.  

One  of  those  revolts  erupted   in   a  place called  “Kangkong, Caloocan”,  a  few kilometers  from   Diliman  and   the   road that   was   eventually   named “Katipunan”.  

       You   tread   on   hallowed   ground   when   you   march   on   Katipunan:   As they do today:       

   The 2016  Katipunan  Uprising.

 

Millennials   are  brilliant   and   brave.
