remember the purple tree mentioned here two Sundays ago? — and guess what the color of the day is (June 14).  here it is, photo by Myra Lambino-Ramos, part of a 

long-running nature series, shot last  June 4, the morning show astrologer said at about 6:25 am today that the lucky color of the day was purple or “light violet”  (i think she gives alternative names just in case the color is “alien” to some members of the audience)
