the lucky color today is magenta

The morning show astrologer said the lucky color of the day was magenta or red violet. Perfect! It goes well withbits of soil on scraped skin; will be color-coordinated today. This was from two days ago; i did not post about it, and then had a miscommunication about what could not be pressed. i shouldn’t have to talk about everything.  (hematomas and bruises on limbs on certain days of the month are normal for me; if on limbs, normal; if not on limbs but on the face – call the police). This one however occurred when the skin came in contact with the ground, involuntarily. this happens sometimes when the path is muddy and you decide to run on rocks, if the rocks are of a smaller width than your feet, they will roll when the feet land on them, and then you will find some particles of the ground mixing with the surface of  the knee;  blabber-blabber. Lots of admissions yesterday on the hostage-taking crisis: “hindi ko sya pinaaresto” (“i did not order his arrest (the hostage-taker’s brother),” said Manila Mayor Lim of Dirty Harry fame;  “ang sabi ko lang (“what i said was”), “dalhin na yan sa presinto” (rough translation: “bring him to the police station,” or, “haul him to the police station,” or, “roll him down until he gets to the police station.”) o sige, kayo mag-translate, baka kung ano pa masabi ko. (okay, why don’t you translate it, be right back). Happy weekend!

rhetorical questions & the lucky color

Her predictions today consisted of a series of questions for every sign, but they’re rhetorical questions…geez; it’s a good thing the lucky color forecast wasn’t in the form of a question: is the lucky color today lavender or very light violet? She said that was the lucky color of the day today Wednesday. it’s too late to run but i’m still running, anyway there are a few cars where i run; i got out early but noticed some clutter and decided to  clear that first although i could have just ignored it,….brb. (i don’t have lots of lavender clothes…parang wala…teka. i’ll just wrap a light purple scarf over white or what. later.)

i’m tired of monday-morning-quarterbacking from everybody!None of them said that when the brother of the hostage taker was making a scene on live TV, no one!! no one made a phone call, or sent an SMS to a public official they knew, or tweeted about it at the moment it was occurring, everybody felt uneasy (i did) but everyone sat or stood watching with mouths agape, and now, everybody is …  a Genius!!!

was switching and flipping five channels at that time, one female news anchor very, very  softly said “sana….hindi ito nakikita ng hostage-taker.” (i hope…the hostage-taker cannot see this). you can run the tape again and find out who it was. Since i was switching five channels,  cannot now identify who it was; and her co-anchor replied, “may tv yata sa bus” (“there’s probably a tv on the bus”); both were just thinking aloud as the event was unfolding. THEY WERE NOT GROUND COMMANDERS. At the time the brother was flailing himself in front of the cameras, and everybody was just watching and trying to understand it,   those two were the only geniuses (it might have been Ces or Lynda, check the tapes)  but they weren’t in charge…who was in charge at that time? And that, your honor, is the rhetorical question for the day. i guess this is my cue to run, baka kung ano pa masabi ko dito…
