Ode to the Wise One — on a Rainy, then Balmy, Day

Proof of Life

These are today’s newspapers. As proof that the pose was executed today. And that this is not just a file copy, it’s hot off the camera! Haven’t practised for a month, tried once last week,  ligaments still feel raw from that, like they’ve been turned inside out. This is kurmasana again (turtle pose); needed proof it was executed today (don’t ask).

i don’t really execute in front of people like this; just for the photographer. Last summer, tried it but only

the prep of it at first; then got back to the office at 12:00 noon, executed a “lower and flatter” version and had it photographed, and posted it in the blog.

This photo here doesn’t have good light, it was

cloudy, hadn’t planned

on having this photographed today.

Looking at it now — should have placed the newspapers at the side of the legs or feet but

couldn’t see the frame of the camera and wasn’t sure it would be inside the frame that way; so, placed them at the center.

This pose is my

offering. (long story)

This asana is dedicated to the Wise One. Alternative title: “Trying to Make Heads & Tails of the Headlines”.
