still checking  papers being a good girl you can see my geewizgolly halo —  can’t blog right now. Where are the movie lines? text from imdb.com

Barbra Streisand in Yentl:

Bookseller: You’re in the wrong place, storybooks for women are over here.

Yentl (played by Barbra Streisand): (holding a book) I’d like this one, please.

Bookseller: (takes the book away) Sacred books are for men.

Yentl: Why?

Bookseller: It’s the law.

Yentl: Where’s it written?

Bookseller: It doesn’t matter where it’s written, it’s the law.

Yentl: Well if it’s the law it must be written somewhere, perhaps in here…?

(holds out the book)

Yentl: . I’ll take it.

Liveblog The Emmys “Game Change’ (on Sarah Palin’s run) wins Big! best writing, best actress, best directing, outstanding miniseries.

Liveblog (a little bit): Best actress winner, Julianne Moore, TV movie or mini-series: “Wow, wow, i feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a thumbs down … etc. (goes on to thank relevant people in her work and life)” —   acceptance speech for winning Best Actress for her role as Sarah Palin in Game Change, The Emmys, ongoing (Game Change also won best writing, so far)

and won again! for best directing, Game Change!

i recommend this movie if you haven’t seen it.

Jon Stewart, The Daily Show, won for best variety show a couple of minutes ago. i also recommend this.

Kevin Costner won best actor in a miniseries/ movie, Hatfields and McCoys. just now (haven’t seen it, i saw the actor’s promo of it, it’s about a long drawn family feud that led to shootings between those families in “cowboy” America, a little after the Civil War)

Jon Hamm (Mad Men) an hour ago, did not win best actor for a drama series — boo hoo

Game Change again! Outstanding mini-series/ movie! Big winner! Tom Hanks receiving the award.

Michael J. Fox as presenter. He  looks okay. No tremors.  Gets a standing ovation.  shouts “steady as a rock”.

(Updated) if you’re running, THIS is how you should be photographed

if you’re running… or even if your heart just throbs for a dream — this is your film. And this is how a runner should be photographed (especially in the closing sequence of the trailer). (for credits, see film credits; for uploader, see label)

For Delle and Mylene & all runners —

for all who “won’t stop”…
