Quote” Last November 23, Philippine Daily Inquirer published ‘Writing dirty wins international award for PDI reporter’ and ‘Inquirer exhibits Cannes Lions best Creative Minds’ in their front page. The two stories were written by Elza Victoria and Marlet D. Salazar respectively.

quote “Instead of placing important news at the front page, the Inquirer opted to publish these socially irrelevant articles that are unworthy to be highlighted. The purpose of these articles is to boost Inquirer’s image to its readers. In addition, the country’s leading broadsheet allowed their business interests and biases to influence them in their news-reporting. The newspaper should have placed these stories, which contain minimal news values, in the latter pages.” Closed-quote.Nov 27, 11:49 PM —
