The secret to shorter, much, much shorter uploading time in YouTube, of an original music video that you produced is…to use a shorter song! Duh. Huu–waay (Whhyy) didn’t i think of that?

Use a two-minute cover of a song (a song is usually 4 minutes; it’s too much of a production, sobra, i can’t do that anymore.), therefore, you only have to produce a two-minute clip. Therefore, you can download those two-minute covers performed by…. i don’t have any other source, sorry for this; if you can point me to other sources of short covers, i will gladly get from those, and i don’t want to advertise this source; i’m just explaining why i’m using these short covers; ….you could download those two-minute covers performed by….American Idol contestants made available legally through i-tunes in the AI website (99 cents). If you’re using a two-minute track, producing the music video and uploading is a breeze, you could do it with just one hand on the keyboard;  and because it takes a short time to upload, (you know, i keep leaving during the upload, so i can do other stuff,  then my computer sleeps and YouTube gets into error, etc. so it never gets finished when i get back, so i have to repeat then leave and come back then repeat etc. etc.).

Two minutes of track is efficient, snappy, easy to make, and just enough for the attention span of your viewers.

my hurried gibberish before heading for the door:

saw an old James Bond movie (Pierce Brosnan) a long time ago, where he was detained and tortured by the North Korean government and he practised yoga while in detention so he survived then he was retrieved by his government but “detained” in  a hospital for debriefing; he “stopped” his heart from beating so the machines attached to him rang alarms and the medical staff came in to try to revive him and that was when he threw them around and escaped….and went to Cuba…. So, i told myself: “must enrol in yoga at some point”. It might come in handy. Duh. After several months of classes, i googled the yoga teacher Guruji and saw a write-up that said that practice (“stopping” one’s heart from beating) was “shrouded in mystery” and reputedly only two people in the world could do it. Now  they tell me.

My theory there is, you can’t really stop your heart from beating but can slow it down and make the beat really, really faint…very, very very very faint, that the machines cannot detect it. But that’s a super-human feat;  and if done,  would be a medical discovery. Worthy of a Nobel prize, that is to say, there is  no recorded, documented case. Only James Bond.

i’m talking gibberish. I’ll be back.  -marichu
