    The article violated responsible journalistic practices in so many ways. Firstly, the article sensationalized the “evidence” of Satanism by previewing a devil photo, even though the photo is clearly unrelated to the subject matter which is merely cursed rosaries. By doing this, he sets off the message that an “infestation” is truly happening.

    Second, the journalist did not try to give any near scientific explanations or evidences of the alleged curses. The journalist said that these were the doings of the Illuminati, however, he did not try to become balanced by identifying at least one member of the said group. The article is propagating allegations toward a group/set of people, but fails incredibly in giving out more detailed information. If it were really true that the Illuminati was responsible for the Satanic rosaries, he should have at least interviewed a member, and clarified what the Illuminati really is all about.

    What the journalist should have done is to at least deliver the news with the clear distinction of spiritual beliefs and objective news which can provide clearer explanation.
