Developments so far,
based on news reports:
1)from all media organizations: a copy of
Proclamation Number 216 declaring martial law was provided the office of the speaker of the house of representatives by the records keeper of MalacaÑang, as follows (embedded copy) below;
2)Speaker Alvarez said he was not inclined to convene the House;
3)Sen. Chiz Escudero (via DZBB) said convening Congress was not necessary since they have not received any motion or resolution revoking or seeking to revoke the declaration of martial law
