Edited out: Usec Puno to

President Noynoy

2pm hostage crisis “matulog

na kayo…

(“go to sleep already”)

That portion was aired in the

first news broadcast, but

“edited out” (suppresed) in

the latter broadcasts, so i

googled it, it is retained in

some online news

organizations such as Yahoo

News Philippines at

www.ph.news.yahoo.com in

its news story:

DILG usec: Aquino wanted to

talk directly

to hostage-taker – Yahoo

The question is: Why was it

suppressed (censored) in

the succedding broadcasts of

the mainstream, giant media

organizations? Here it is,

the portion of the interview

that was suppressed:

DILG Undersecretary Rico

Puno (the President’s

provincemate and gun-

enthusiast buddy) who was

given unofficially (not in

writing) by President Noynoy

the power to supervise the

police, depriving DILG

Secretary Jesse Robredo

of such function, said in an

interview yesterday (from

Yahoo News Philippines,

click link given above):

quote “ “Naisip niya

(tinutukoy dito ang

Presidente tala ng blog

admin) as early as 2 p.m., ‘Ano

kaya kung pumunta na ako

diyan at sabihin ko (sa

hostage-taker) na marami ka

nang naiistorbong tao at

maraming mawawala sa

atin?‘,” [“He (the President

-blog admin’s note) thought as

early as 2pm (of the hostage

crisis – blog admin’s note),

‘What if i go there and tell

the hostage-taker that he is

disrupting the lives of many

people and we would be in

the losing end?’ he said in an

exclusive interview with GMA

News’ Jun Veneracion

aired over “24 Oras.”

Quote (from Yahoo Phil)

““Syempre, sabi namin na

ganoon, ‘Mr. President, hindi

kasama na protocol yan’ ,” he

said.

quote (from Yahoo Phil) “(Of

course, we told him, ‘Mr.

President, that’s not part of

our protocols.’)

quote (from Yahoo Phil) Puno

even advised Aquino not to

worry about the incident,

which they thought would end

peacefully.

Quote “ “Nung naghiwalay

kami, sinabi namin: ‘Matulog

na kayo [Aquino] at

gigisingin namin kayo kapag

tapos na ito’,” he said.

quote (from Yahoo

Phil)”(Before we adjourned,

we told him: ‘Get some sleep

and we’ll wake you up when

this is over.)

Quote “The 11-hour hostage

drama, however, ended with

nine people killed— the

hostage-taker and eight Hong

Kong tourists. (See: Hostage

crisis ends in bloody carnage;

8 hostages dead)”

closed-quote.

And…you think i forgot , don’t

you? And the lucky color of

the day according to the

morning show astrologer

is…off-white.

It’s eeaasy, eeaasy,

eeeaassiee, as A… B… C…

the lucky color today is magenta

The morning show astrologer said the lucky color of the day was magenta or red violet. Perfect! It goes well withbits of soil on scraped skin; will be color-coordinated today. This was from two days ago; i did not post about it, and then had a miscommunication about what could not be pressed. i shouldn’t have to talk about everything.  (hematomas and bruises on limbs on certain days of the month are normal for me; if on limbs, normal; if not on limbs but on the face – call the police). This one however occurred when the skin came in contact with the ground, involuntarily. this happens sometimes when the path is muddy and you decide to run on rocks, if the rocks are of a smaller width than your feet, they will roll when the feet land on them, and then you will find some particles of the ground mixing with the surface of  the knee;  blabber-blabber. Lots of admissions yesterday on the hostage-taking crisis: “hindi ko sya pinaaresto” (“i did not order his arrest (the hostage-taker’s brother),” said Manila Mayor Lim of Dirty Harry fame;  “ang sabi ko lang (“what i said was”), “dalhin na yan sa presinto” (rough translation: “bring him to the police station,” or, “haul him to the police station,” or, “roll him down until he gets to the police station.”) o sige, kayo mag-translate, baka kung ano pa masabi ko. (okay, why don’t you translate it, be right back). Happy weekend!
