… Did the land use planners, engineers, architects, scientists, and artists who designed the U.P. Diliman campus know that the Carillon (the University belfry) would silhouette perfectly on the face of the sun as it rises… ?
Sunrise on-campus photographs best from the middle of the University Avenue — literally the middle of U Av — but that’s an “active” road and it’s not safe to take pictures while driving (on the other hand, if you stop in the middle of that wide street just to take a photo, you will block any oncoming car behind you).
This was shot inside the campus already.
If you want to shoot from the middle of U Av, you’ll have to be on foot and be vigilant not to be sideswiped or be run over…
