Shot at 4pm today from the street: crowds at voters’ registration spilling into the main road. You could alleviate the suffering of thousands who have been lining up for ten hours by deputizing additional registration personnel;

you could pull out employees from other sections and units, give them a briefing and deputize them for registration with an overall supervisor and a hotline; hell, you could deputize “contractuals” on an emergency basis

from the private sector, and be able justify it as urgent and necessitated by the exigencies of the situation, just to ensure that the thousands who are lining up can register….or are you about to tell me that you are willing to cause the disenfranchisement of thousands and thousands of voters just because your registration personnel is too slow too little too late?
