First posted at 8:29am : According to the weather app AccuWeather, which last Friday was shown here as more accurate than PAGASA ( see previous posts), the weather forecast per hour per city (Quezon City now, pls post your forecast request in the comments box below for your city & I will give the AccuWeather forecast for it):
Quezon City, the capital
9 am will be 89°F or 31.6° C , however the RealFeel temperature is hotter at 96° F or a hot 35.5° C. The RealFeel temperature, a patented AccuWeather formula, is what the temperature actually feels outside taking into account the humidity, angle of the sun, cloud cover, winds, and how the average person perceives the hotness or coldness, according to AccuWeather. So…outside at 9am it will feel 35.5°C, a fever is 37° C, so 35.5°C — hot already.
There will be showers with probability of rain at 40% at 0.01 inch, according to AccuWeather. It also says that for outdoor sports or activity, it is a “poor time” to engage in outdoor fitness as rain is likely, it is “much hotter than you’d like” , it will be just the right amount of wind. ( I recommend 5:30 am for QC for outdoor running or walking but make sure the area is safe, QC has the highest crime rate in the metro)
10am, still QC: 91°F or 32.7, mostly cloudy, with RealFeel at 101°F or 38.3. Too hot. A fever is 37°C. Mostly cloudy. A “poor time” for outdoor activity as it is “much hotter than you’d like” according to AccuWeather.
11am QC: 93° F or 33.8° C, mostly cloudy, with RealFeel at 103° F or 39.4° C . For me, this is intolerably hot, hotter than a fever. Obviously, “poor time” for outdoor activity “hotter than you’d like” according to AccuWeather.
12 noon QC: 94° or34.4°C with RealFeel at 103 or 39.4 — higher than a fever. Too hot for outdoor activity.
1pm 96 or 35.5°C mostly cloudy with RealFeel at 102° F or 38.8° C — hotter than a fever. This peaks at 2pm as follows:
2pm: 97° or 36.1 with RealFeel at 101°F or 38.3° C — hotter than a fever.
It slightly tapers off at 3 pm: 96° F or 35.5°C with RealFeel at 101° F or 38.3° C or still hotter than a fever, intermittent clouds.
4 pm 94° F or 34.4° C with RealFeel at 98 or 36.6°C, similar to a sinat or slight/ baby fever
5pm 93° F 33.8°C or with RealFeel at 95°F or 35°C. That’s not too hot.
6pm 91°F or 32.7° C with RealFeel at 94° F or 34.4°C. Not too hot
7pm 89° F or 31.6° F with RealFeel at 92°F or 33.3° C. Not too hot.
8pm 87° F or 30.5° C with RealFeel still at 92° F or 33.3°C still not cool
9pm 86°F or 30°C with RealFeel still at 92° C or 33.3°C still not cool.
the temperature in Metro Manila today, according to DZMM, is a low of 24 degrees centigrade to a high of 32 degrees centigrade. That means, right now, up to maybe about 7-ish in the morning, it would be as cool as summer in Baguio; but at midday up to late afternoon, not that cool but not hot. You don’t need a jacket at midday (unless you’re in airconditioned spaces).
Sunrise is in about an hour and 14 minutes from now.
i’m too lazy to run….lemme see… in a bit…i have an 8:30am downtown southeast , but since i underslept i wish now it was at 6am so i’d be done.
(i don’t have a blog category for this post! lemme see if i can find an original photo for it). Lazing around, lazing lazing for 20 minutes, okay, ta-tah, see you back here in a bit.
